In Bethlehem, in Israel, This blessed Babe was born And laid within a manger Upon this blessed morn The baby's mother Mary Did nothing take in scorn O tidings of comfort and joy. "Fear not then," then said the Angel, "Dear shepherd do not fright, This day is born a Savior Of a pure Virgin bright, To free all those who trust in Him From Satan's power and might." O tidings of comfort and joy. And when they came to Bethlehem Where our dear Saviour lay, They found Him in a manger, Where oxen feed on hay; His Mother Mary kneeling down, Unto the Lord did pray. O tidings of comfort and joy. Now to the Lord sing praises, All you within this place, And with true love and brotherhood Each other now embrace; This holy tide of Christmas All other doth deface. O tidings of comfort and joy.
God rest ye merry, gentlemen Let nothing you dismay Remember, Christ, our Saviour Was born on Christmas day To save us all from Satan's power When we were gone astray O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy

Luke 2 04:03
Joseph left Galilee with Mary his future wife They left for Bethlehem Though she was with child While they were in Bethlehem Mary had a son She wrapped him up in linen cloth Laid him in a manger bed There was no room for them In a proper Inn Glory to God in the highest Peace on earth good will to all men! Glory to God in the highest Peace on earth good will to all men! In the same countryside Shepherds watch their flocks by night Then the angel of the Lord came to them The Lord’s glory shone round about They were so afraid That the angel said to them “Fear not I bring good news Tidings of great joy to you Which shall be to all people A Savior is born” When the angel went away The shepherds went to Bethlehem They went to see for themselves What the Lord made known to them So they came in haste and found Mary, Joseph and the Babe When they had seen the Son They made it known To many others As it had been foretold

Savior Baby 04:20
A baby born in Bethlehem A stable dark and cold The stars shone bright that special night A Savior baby, born A baby born to be a king The hope of all the world A baby born to die for us His life, redeeming love The shepherds came to see the babe They sensed His majesty For the angels told them of His birth And glory shone ‘round Him What Child is this That lays resting on His mother’s lap So softly sleeps Whom angels greet With their anthems sweet While shepherds watch This, this is Christ the King Whom shepherds guard And angels sing Haste, haste to bring Him laud The babe, the Son… He is a King, He is our Lord He is the Promised One Born to die for all mankind All glory in the highest

When God said, Let there be light, Did the universe shake and tremble as white pierced through the blackness this void of nothingness, with the words, Let there be? The prophet Jeremiah, who had fire in his heart, a burning shut up in his bones, spreading like wildfire flame, destroying forest and field, he could not hold back. He was consumed with light, with speaking what was right.   Like all those prophets who foretold Your coming birth, this promise fulfilled. Your story wrapped in wonder of baby boy miracle, dispersing the gloomy clouds of night, putting death’s dark shadow to flight. No longer concealed, we reveal this hope we hold with hearts full: that He dispels with glorious splendor the darkness everywhere; So we repeat: Let there be.   Even that Advent star of wonder, star that perplexed and distressed  those who could not see your coming. The light enveloped Bethlehem night as they waited in cave cold, for this blooming rose, for this long awaited promise of old. Dispelling the darkness, You came with bellows of birthing pain, with the messiness of motherhood, with the fulfillment of prophets from long ago.   When she held you that first time, light in the darkness-- You were baby boy bundled in soft skin, hair matted down to a sheen and lungs that exhaled newborn cries, bringing us light through our tears.   This miracle child who would save the world, this grace-giving, sacrificial-living, servant-forgiving, The One, who showed us how to fight by giving up his life.   This creation story, This Advent night, This baby born making all the broken things right. This is the story of every lost soul who longs for the cry of Let there be light.   Your Word drenched in fire, set our hearts aflame, to rage against the night, to hold in our hearts this light, this star of wonder, this baby boy of hope. We cry out at your birth, with all the earth: Let there be light. Let there be.

O Holy Night 04:49
Oh holy night The stars were brightly shining It is the night of the dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night, O holy night, O night divine

Truly He taught us to love one another His law is love and His gospel is peace Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother And in His name all oppression shall cease Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name Christ is the Lord O praise His name forever. His power and glory ever more proclaim. His power and glory ever more proclaim.

Let men their songs employ; While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy The Savior reigns! The Savior reigns! The Savior reigns! Repeat, the sounding joy He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of his righteousness And wonders of His love And wonders of His love And wonders, wonders, of His love His truth and grace, His truth and grace His truth and grace, And wonders of His love The Lord is come, The Lord is come The Lord is come, and Heaven, and nature sing

In the bleak midwinter Frosty wind made moan Earth stood hard as iron Water like a stone Snow had fallen, snow on snow Snow on snow In the bleak mid-winter Long ago.

 Hallelujah, Hallelujah All Creation sings
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
, Hallelujah to the King

What can I give Him Poor as I am If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb If I were a wise man I would do my part Yet what I can, I give Him Give my heart

about

You Will Find The Child celebrates the incarnation of Jesus that we read about in Luke 2:8-12:

"There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.'” (NIV)
