In Psalm 28, David helps us cry out to the Lord for help and then return to say thanks in worship.
God is HOLY. He wants His people to acknowledge His
holiness through WORSHIP. At the same time, this holy God is all-powerful and longs for a PERSONAL relationship with all those who call on His name.

To you, O Lord, I call;
To you, my Rock, I cry
do not remain silent.
Hear my call for help
Hear my cry for mercy
as I lift up my hands
toward your throne.

Do not drag me away
Lost in my sin and shame,
with those who do evil,
Give me a pure heart, O God
Give me a heart for your world
As I lift up my hands
for what you’ve done.

Praise- be- to the Lord God Almighty,
He - is - my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him
my heart leaps for joy,
and I praise him.

The Lord is the strength of his people,
Salvation flowing from his Son
Save us and bless us forever
Shepherd our souls til you come.
